Removing silver trim around windsheild?

Default Removing silver trim around windsheild?

Has anyone attempt this! if so could someone explain to me how its done, I just dont want to start yanking on it causing it to break.

Any info would be of help!

I think only option is to paint it, not take it off. I don't think it's "trim," I think it's part of the body.

Punisher - you should ask your dealer because they offered to paint mine to match the body color and I can't remember who had it done, but theirs came painted black from the dealer, and they put pictures in their album. Do a search for "paint mod" because I believe that was the subject heading.

do a search for the windshield threads... someone just mentioned a couple days ago that they had to replace their windshield due to a stone hit, and from the pro's that did the job getting that trim off was I believe said to be "not easy"...
