ok I know you are no longer looking at VerticalDoors.com - however I emailed them and said the following (to get them thinking):

The Chrysler Crossfire kind of sucks because you have the swing the door way open to get out. Are you planning on making a kit for this car?

Their reply

its hard to say because the car is so new. we have yet to hear for
more requests.
Maybe people should email them and ask them the same question...

On top of that what exactly is the reason that we don't want to use this company - it is because 1 person complained or because many have had quality issues with the parts or what?

I have nothing to gain by saying this ... this is my direct oppinion becuse i have already been their unsatisfied customer and i see the garbage that try to sell
our cars are not 2k hondas!!

The idea is great ...the price is actually not too extreme if they are doing a nice job. But I would agree that if you want to still use the XF for a normal daily driver they are not a good idea. Plus the wheels one the blaze red XF just about did me in ;-)........Yikes the rear ones are way too tiny.

So far I'm still waiting for the first one to try it....I wish I'm in Cali 'cause they offered a free install for the first Crossfire they'll experiment this lambo door with

I now have 3 tiny chips in my driverside door edges..though I'm very careful when opening my door like doing a yoga thingy..even the softest contact on the wall can chip your paint.

I'm now in the process of redesigning my garage so that everything will be kept in the cabinets ( for my XFIREX sake ). This will be a nice home for my XFIREX with the checkered floors and red and white accessories only :-)

You got to get this:

http://www.racedeck.com

You could go with the red and white diamond plated floor!

Get the clear edge guards that mould onto the lip. $.99 at any auto parts store. On your Blaze they'd likely be almost invisible.

Default I'm Interested

Cyril,

I am more than ready to get the Lambo Doors

I live in SoCal and I would be more than happy to let them use my car for the initial test bed

If you have a point of contact at Vertical Doors, Inc. send him my name and number and I'll do all the leg work from here to allow them to get a kit available for the Crossfire

Later

I'd like to see a finished x-fire to see how it looks, the driver's experience having the doors, etc. But I think the lambo doors look very nice, and I'm one of the people who think the x-fire's stock doors are so long they make parking more complicated than it needs to be (the argument "just park away from everyone else" isn't very practical, since it's not always possible - especially at work, where my covered parking space is assigned).
