May be battery time
My wife went out to her new 2006 Roadster and it was dead. Weird thing was the spoiler popped up and it said the trunk was open. I put my quick charger on it and it fired right up, I took it for a little 5 mile run and came back and it started so I guess I'll see if it does it after setting all night. The windows were left down but I don't think she left anything on to drain it. From all of the research I did here via some searches it sounds like the cars do weird things when the battery is getting ready to barf like the spoiler issue we had.
If it is battery I may go with Duralast at Auto Bone, I had one of their batteries in my Corvair and it lasted over 10 years and that included lots of setting without a tender and would fire right up after setting all Winter. I will use my Harbor Freight Tender when I park it for Winter.
We'll see what happens in the morning, if I have to boost it I will drive to Auto Bone and have them test it and then get a Duralast if needed.
Any input appreciated but the spoiler popping up sounds like battery from what I read here doing searches. The battery is white so I think it's stock factoring all of this in I think it may be battery time.

I didn't jump the car I used the start feature on my big old battery charger. I just went out this morning and it started right up, I hate intermittent things. It said the trunk was open so maybe that ran it down, of course she didn't have the trunk open for any reason. I am the nervous type and will buy a battery if needed but it started right up. Any concerns lay it on me.

if the trunk lid is not shut all the way, the trunk light will stay on and kill the battery -- or at least drain it until the electronics do funky things. It happened to me twice until I figured out the problem and now check that the trunk is completely closed. For what it is worth, I am still running the original battery on my roadster and keep it on a float charger over the winter.
I am still trying to figure how the trunk lid got open... no clue how that happened, nobody used it?
I plan on using a float charger this Winter as well.

If the trunk lid or a door is left open on my car (2004 coupe) the trunk light and interior lights will be switched off automatically after fifteen minutes. This is also mentioned in the manual.
I would imagine that the roadster has a similar feature.
15 minutes? I was thinking the dome/interior light in my (Red)* Roadster went off in about 5 minutes and that the trunk light NEVER went off.
Time to test this... back in a few!
* I guess I've now got to specify which car I'm talking about.

My lights have been out for quite some time.
Ended up working on the DAMN DISHWASHER, got it fixed. It would not drain, found a jammed check valve in the discharge.
I'll get back to this light thing tomorrow after work.

I've been through this trunk/battery issue. Twice. (2008 Ltd Roadster). It happened shortly after I bought the car. Turns out that if the trunk is not tightly closed, the battery will, and does drain. The thing is that you think the trunk is fully closed. And it isn't. And the spoiler does deploy. The forum really helped scope out this issue for me and I passed it on to the service advisor.
I learned the hard way to check that trunk! I did get a new battery out of the problem. Initially the dealership thought the original battery had simply failed. The problem + solution was discovered on the 2nd go-round after the new battery 'appeared' to fail.
