Weird vibration while cold
Anyone else experience an odd vibration (like a really bad tire balance) while the car is cold? I took it to the dealer 2 times for the issue for which they said there was no issue and if I brought it back again they would charge me for the visit. They insisted the issue (if there was one) was with the tires.
Well the warranty is now over, I have brand new tires on it and it STILL vibrates terribly. Especially at 60kph, 100kph and 120kph... But it's odd... the vibration isn't just felt in the wheel but the whole body. Almost like drive train or bearings...
It takes about 10-15 minutes of driving for the vibration to go away.
If I disengage the clutch the vibration is still there so I don't think it's tranny... Although this started sometime after having my tranny rebuilt for the third time...
Any ideas? This is driving me crazy!

if the car sits a lot its just the tires flat-spotting. If you've already had to have a manual rebuilt 3 times... you might need to address your driving abilities, you could have damaged something else

So lets ask him how many accidents he was involved in the last week?
Nothing wrong with my driving abilities Infinite. I have an early numbers car which was plagued with the 1st gear pop out issue. Took 3 rebuilds to get it fixed.
As for flat spotting, I doubt it, unless you can flat spot a tire after 2 days. And this has been happening with the original tires (conti all seasons) as well as my new summers (vredesteins).
I wonder if it could be drive train, but it does go away after about 25 minutes of driving...
Just annoying as hell.

I have the same problem and it goes away after ~5 miles of driving. The stock thin profile tires do seem to develop a flat spot very quickly and the car is so sensitive it does seem to vibrate until they warm up and "fill out" You should also air them up more -- I think I'm running 35-36 on the roadster and 38 on the SRT6.
