srt6 Auto

on my way home i had noticed it had lost power and thought it might have just been the water pump(needs replacing) for the SC however normally that powerloss last only a couple minutes. so i pulled over and shut the car off, after restarting i went to put the car in drive, but it was locked it park and the check engine light came on. I had to manually unlock the shifter and was able to drive home in limp mode, would not go past second. All the fuild levels are normal.

I noticed two things, first when starting the car, there is a slight delay when i turn the key. not much but it something new. maybe 1/2-1 second delay to turn over

Also, i had only been driving for 10-15 minutes but when i was trying to figure out what the problem was and when driving home i noticed that the engine temp was a little higher than normal.

I do not yet have any codes as my friend has the machine and i probably wouldnt get them for a couple days, hopefully by the end of the weekend.

So if anyone has experienced this or knows what the likely problem is let me know. thanks

 

its bringing up a code for the transmission control module, anyone have an idea for price+labor?

 

and secondly anyone looking to sell one? also is the NA TCM compatible on the srt6

okay, didnt think so but my dad has an NA so i figured if it would be an easy way to test it by swapping the two, oh well

 

any updates on replacing the tcm for an srt6?
