Rear Bushes

Default Rear Bushes

Hi anyone know what Mercedes the Crossfire is based upon? I want to change some of the rear bushes...eg roll bar/sway bar rubber bushes as they are squeaking! Are they the same as SLK or is it the C class models.......reason is I have a MERCEDES dealership not far away!Any help wuold be appreciated........UK member..........GEORGE

From what I've read here "...Crossfire is virtually identical to the Mercedes-Benz SLK320 on the R170 platform."

I regularly douse the bushings with a silicone based lubricant (not oil-based like WD-40, because I was told that would degrade the rubber). That seems to reduce the squeaking.
