Well I know I got mine... cuz I pulled away from a Rx8 ! and I was lossing to the same one before! I've tested it with a stop watch also... and 5.8 - 5.9 is what I get... im sure on a nice day! i can get the 5.7 if its chilly outside!

And by pulling away from the Rx8.. cuz i might get slammed for this... A rx8 has VERY strong top pulling if the RPM's are done correctly... and before in third gear he'd loose me.. now i loose him... so I know there is a huge difference!

I can't wait to throw the Borla on there! maybe even switch to some lighter rims + tires too! also for looks... Upsolute is definately the way to go!

 

Cyril the answer is the ESP.... Turn it off and try it. Also torque brake to around 2,400 rpm, or a lttle less, then launch the car like as if you are drag racing. The ESP really holds the car back. When you're looking for speed ESP is not your friend!

 

So, the clue there is the pre-launching but with 6.5 sec. thats the difference I needed from the stock ECU to prove that my XFIREX is chipped alright.

 

Sitting here, very impatiently, awaiting the call to pick up my xfire with it's new K&N filters and Upsolute chip.

Exhaust is next but I just haven't reached a decision on which way to go with that. The Magnaflow muffler seems to be the best return for a modest investment but I'm still open to influence on this one.

I'll post my reaction to the chip, once I get it out on the road.

 

Ray I'm buying the Borla ASAP ... my provider has me on a preorder so ill grab it right when it comes out... then tell everyone what i think of it!
