New 2004 Owner Handling Issues
6k miles seems a little early but you might want to try replacing your steering stabilizer. It's only $30 and a 5-10 minute job to do in your driveway.
SRT-6 springs will fit and are much firmer (firmer even than most "performance" aftermarket springs). You might be able to find a set by asking around or over on the Parts Classifieds forum.

Waste of money replacing the stabilzer. Unless the car has been used for Rallies or Rock Clibming there's no way there is noticible wear.
1). Stiffer Springs. After market or used set of SRT springs. Should be able to pick up set on forum foe $100-$125.
2). Shocks, your shocks will feel just fine for the slightly above average driver with the stiffer sprigs.
3). Coil-overs, Tires, larger sway bars, Larger Brakes, heck buy an SRT
Just kidding try out the SRT springs first, is she going to approve of a stiffer ride?
Boy if I had a nickel for every time I've asked that
Mike

Another thought is to go with the Koni adjustable shocks, a little costly, however if you were to have someone else put springs in your car, you could offset the cost of the shocks once you factor in the labor cost of spring replacement. If you are going to do the work yourself then you can't go wrong with SRT springs.
