Default replaced BCM

Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying the best day of the week!
I have just changed my BCM and am wondering if I need to do something, i.e. reset ? use the OBDII to clear something etc... any thoughts?

And the 119th time you have bitched about it. Isn't this what the forum is for? He has done everything that he has set out to do. He purchased an SRT.... Shipped it to Europe, painted it white, changed out the wheels, changed the spoiler, and asked questions along the way even when others have gave him a hard time. He never says anything negative about those that berate him, yet you won't relent. What have you done to help him? Not sure why you have such a hard on for him, but it is getting pretty damn old.

By the way... If you took the time to get to know Phil, he is a really cool guy.

Why is it that some people do nothing but complain about people posting? If the guy was posting 20 times a day about nothing I'd be annoyed also, but lets get serious.

Thanks for the support guys! MikeR, grip grip, green ghost, rcompart, bmorgan, oledoc2u, fireamx+, 32krazy, Jhm2k, LantanaTX, james1542 and mr snow White, valkryderguy amongst many others (sry if I did forget someone. It is morning here) have all been giving me such support and hints that without you my project would not have been accomplished. Respect and hugs to all of you!

That's the reason why I'm sticking to this forum it has gone so far that I don't even read what he is replying.
That said, if he ever writes a good reply I will miss it. but hey, that will be the day

His negative bugging have actually egged me on and made me go through with the project. Also some other user in the beginning who said "put your money where your mouth is" really made me to initiate the hunt for a White SRT6. Now I have the dream car. Some of you have seen it and I am glad you liked it. I guess after having done this(disassemble whole car and put back together) I know alot about these cars. Hopefully one day mr 180 will be needing some info and I'll gladly help him. That may turn him over not to be that grumpy. Or maybe he should watch " grumpy old men" or some other movie that portrays that life is to short to be grumpy and put people down. Especially those on this forum. 70% seem to be genuine. Respect!

Have a nice day to all of you! I am off to reset bcm at the auto garage. Breakfast first

Btw, maybe he should consider glasses as if he needs to have the font that size... Must be a bugger reading the inlays from the guys who uses smaller type of fonts.

I don't know if you are bashing him on this post, or congratulating him.
What's your point? You've posted 5,243+ messages to this forum, and
I don't recall too much that hasn't been negative. Maybe, just maybe,
the guy you should be talking to is the one you see when you are shaving.

FUBU is doing an interesting project but the mods are spread over dozens of new posts. You may answer one post but the answer could be wrong in this case because previous decisions have dictated a different set of parameters to be met
Wouldn't it be it be more interesting if the whole project was in one spot and you could see it advance step by step rather than have it broken up into chapters spread all over. There is no continuity here at all.

We have other projects that are all contained in one thread and are there for new members to see at a later date.

This project is like trying to read a book and you have to go to the library and search the shelves for the next chapter and have just as hard a time finding a previous chapter.

Makes logical sense to me and I know I am not alone.

I take it you are one of those folks who think 'strategically' as opposed to
'tactically'. Looking how better to apply order to chaos on the larger map.
Nothing wrong with that. But some of us really are not bothered by the
start of a new thread, because we tend to read all threads in a particular
forum (in this case, the SRT-6 forum). No biggie if the info on a major
project is piecemealed out in different threads by sub-project.

Were it not so easy to click on his name tag at the top of each post and select the
'find all posts by', I might agree with you in this case. But, that does seem to
provide some relief to what you see as an issue. It is not perfect, as it will not
contain all the replies to his messages, but it is easy enough to link to any thread
one might be interested in.

Honestly, my project is my business, saying that, if I decide to post all my questions seperate or in one thread should be my decision. members would not go in to one thread named "FUBUs hunt for White srt6" everytime I would post a question. would take double the time to get an answer, if any.

Maybe a guideline should be made. So I know what is appropriate posting. Hahaha..

The pisstaking from 180 is getting old and boring. If you don't like my posts, don't read them. Several topics and other members questions that occur often, let say the mystery no start PCM circuitboard solder, that one comes up 1s a week. Do I bother? No.. Some poor sod just need a quick answer. I go in and if no one has given the answer I'll try the best to help them. Not tell them off..

Hugs and kisses

I'm excited to see the final outcome. Send me some pics along the way

Well, I see your point now. Phil.... how dare you make your posts inconvenient for 180 to keep up with, as he has a vested interest in the outcome of your project and is activly trying to help you with meeting your goals.

So, 180 where are the threads that you have that provide continuity?

I have been fortunate to have seen the pictures of the transformation to white, and a beautiful car it is indeed.

Anyway, done with this.... and I should not get drawn into this negativity, but Phil has done a lot of great things with his car that most would not have the perseverance to do. He deserves credit for what he has done and shared with fellow car enthusiasts, and not be berated by others that do not have a dog in the fight.

Cheers!
