Default need advice please

hi,new member here,i have brought a 05 crossfire 3.2 auto,i brought it knowing it had a problem with the torque converter,im just wondering if any one has come across this problem before and can confirm it is the converter, when the car is cold if you put it in gear it jumps forward, when it has been running for a while ur lucky to get any drive at all, when ticking over it sounds like a cement mixer going round, ive not drove it as ive been told it will lock up,any advice is very welcome, also any one no the best place to get a converter from,(will a mercedes one fit ),

85% you are low on tranny fluid, do a search on tranny and measure the level in the pan, I designed a cheap wire tie to do the job. Use correct fluid. Woody
