How hard is it to change the waterpump on an 05 3.2?

Can't be too bad, my mechanic fitted one in my XF yesterday, took him just over an hour and half, pretty good i reckon. I was thinking that it was a bit early for one to need replacing, my 05 limited has done 105,000 kms ( about 65,000 miles ). Over here in Aussie the pump was $210, plus $140 labour charge.
