i purchased the hid kit you have in your crossfire and i am having a problem...i hope you can help.

the factory H7 bulb has some depth to the rear of the bulb housing (metal) so the factory retainer clip to has pressure to hold the bulb in the headlamp housing. with the new xenon kit the housing of the xenon bulb has no metal backing (rubber) or depth to keep pressure on the bulb when attaching the spring/retainer clip into place. how did you manage to keep the xenon bulb securely in the headlamp housing without being loose? thank you for any input.

Hey andrew...are you sure they sent you the right kit? They sell 'em with H7's, HB4's, just about any bulb you could want. An H7 is supposed to be an H7, it should fit exactly like the stock bulb (or any other aftermarket H7 bulb).

finally i have the bulbs fitting as they should. yes the kit was an H7...but dummy me removed the retainer clip to insert the bulbs and wires easier and re-installed the clip in reverse. all is good now and the kit is completely finished and works wonderfully. installer error
