I did both and I'm happy with my car's performance. I did the sprint booster first.
The sprint booster gets rid of the throttle lag and the tune improves performance.

Guy's I have the Eurocharged tune, and there is NO throttle lag, so it would seem the Sprint booster is a waste of money, IF you're going to get a tune ..............JMHO

I was wondering the same. I asked the question in another thread and similar responses, "go with the tune".

I think the TUNE adjust Throttle response as part of the tune. Could be wrong, but don't think so!!

My car has no lag whatsoever. Love the tune, pulley and CAI.

I thought the same thing with just my tune, until I tried out a SB (this is on an NA). The SB makes a huge amount of difference above and beyond the tune. I can turn my SB off and even with the tune, the response, IMHO is horrible. When I put it to the middle 'green' setting, it is absolutely perfect.

He very well may alter the response somehow with the tune, but IMHO, the SB makes a literally night and day difference, and until you have tried a SB, do not call it a waste of money

Contact Eurocharged but I think they need to make a modification to the ECU for it to accept the first program. Jerry & Team are great guys. Contact them - they will not steer you wrong.

You may be right on an NA, but I assure you the throttle response could not be any crisper, on my modded SRT6, and I have an unmoddified one right next to it to compare with. I shall rephrase , IMHO I would not pay for a SB for MY car as it is a waste of money for ME .......not knocking the SB, just don't think the throttle response could be any quicker. I'm quite happy

Maxcichon and I have identical 2005 N/A roadsters, had the pleasure of driving his last Saturday and I can attest that the sprint booster makes one heck of a difference.
( his has it, mine does not )

Let me know if it really is quicker with the SB, as mine is difficult enough to drive smoothly as it is, I can only imagine what a handful it would be if the throttle was any more responsive ............

YES, these will both significantly improve both throttle response (SprintBooster) and actual performance (Eurocharged Tune)....best $500 or so dollars you could spend on a mod for the Crossfire...

I hate to belabor the point even more but the consensus is for NA XFires that the Eurocharged tune doesn't do much for throttle response? I was under the impression that the tune would eliminate the need for a Sprint Booster until I read this thread. I would eventually like to get both if they are both needed/beneficial but I'm more concerned with throttle response initially as proper downshifting is a PITA with the sluggish throttle in my XFire and it's the one thing I don't enjoy immensely about the car.
