I second the motion.... Got the EC tune..... no throttle lag after the tune. See my review in the EC Tune sale thread
Heres the best honest opinion ur gonna find on this forum about the EuroTune. I just recently purchased the EuroTune for my n/a last week. I informed them of my current mods (K&N stock replacements, muffler delete, removed baffles in MAF elbow, 74mm throttle body, and a 74mm MAF). I turned the key and hit the streets right after the flash.right away she had a veey rough idle and the car ran worse than srock. My immediate reaction was 'where the heck is the performance change that justifies a price tag of $300?" I asked Jerry what was up and he said their tunes dont support bigger MAF! I said ok (in disbelief) and put my stock 68mm MAF back on and she smoothed out at idle and ran smoother as well. So about 2 more days go by and i did however notice an increase of power from 3rd gear and above (at higher rpms). Then the check engine light comes on. 2 codes- "bank 1 too lean" and "bank 2 too lean". I contacted Jerry himself via email and told him about the problem and he said he has no control over fuel at idle. $300 at a glance for a tune looks great! Until u are hit with all the things that CANT be tweaked. So i my honest opinion, they should cut their tune price in half for the crossfires. I am far from a tune guy and im becoming more mechanically inclined each day, but isnt that wut a tune consists of is adjusting the air/fuel ratio? More air+more fuel=power.
So all in all, i would only recommend a EuroTune if u have ZERO mods to your car from my experience. Im not saying it doesnt work, but if my car keeps throwing codes when the only mods ive done to my crossfire is increase airflow, whats the point in having it?
Now go read the Eurocharged sale thread and see how many "unhappy" customers there are from the over 30 that purchased it. I like how rmcdaniel12 's opinion is going to be the most honest and best one you'll get though.. LOL.
Tune has been around longer than he's been a user on this forum.
AND ANYONE that pays attention to what they are doing already knows you use your OEM MAF when upgrading the throttle body. Probably dozens of threads on that alone. Twin 3" tube "hot air" intakes w-K&N filters on the ends .. 74MM throttle body and upgraded MAF HOUSING and she runs out better than ever with no issues.
And here's a little FYI.. wife's tahoe started throwing those codes.. just before the tank internal filter-pump assy blew an aneurysm in the line between the pump and filter. No tune in the world was going to fix that issue.

And i can easily come up with a product and make up a "sales pitch" by making up fake people and leave a great review. Wouldnt be the first time its ever happend in this World of deceptive marketing. But you know that already right? FYI- how long ive been on the forum is irrelevant to a product of topic. I joined the forum after i got my xfire and joined COM. Just cause something has been around for a certain time doesnt mean its worthy of its existence.
Thats the exact reason why i purchased the tune- from all the good reviews ive heard. I bought the 74mmTB prior to the tune and thats when i got the lean codes. I then purchased the eurotune hoping that the 'computer guy' could resolve the issue. I dont have many mods that differ from your setup. Other than K&N stock replacement filters and the bigger TB, all my other mods have juwt been air restriction deletes to the stock setup. Its not like ive done any extensive engine work here.
This iis why i dont post on **** like this cuz everyone is a 'know-it-all' this days and everything leads to an arguement. The internet- best and worst thing to happen to man kind.
I dont know about u but after reading the evidence, it seems to me that the TB i purchased is in perfect working order if the fuel output didnt change yet more air is flowing thru. I do believe that translates as LEAN. My original post was to give my review on the topic. If u came here to base ur review off of what u read on a website sales pitch that pretty much speaks for itself. Go troll somewhere else
Note to self..^^^...don't bother with trying to resolve an issue when mind is made up.. "yes.. the sky is purple today".. there now we can be buds again..
Where we (that being humans) all went wrong is letting computer technicians become our mechanics. Before i know it ill have to take my car to Best Buy and have the Geek Squad as my mechanic.
Hey here's a news flash.. the ecu compensates to a degree for varying conditions.. it's not a broad band mop to fix any problems someone can create.
I am no expert but I have my own opinions and don't want to cause an argument, I like things nice and cozy.
No more flashes please. Even news ones. Ive had more share of enough f'd up flashes as it is. Are u sure ur not affiliated with EuroTune? U have a good sales pitch butnis ultimately BS.
***** enlargement pills have been around since before you were born MrMiata. According to u that makes them good. And all those people in the commercial are real users to. From what i hear of you, I could probably sells you a solar powered flashlight as long as my sales pitch is convincing.
