flywheel

Default flywheel

I need to interchange the dodge part number for the flywheel to a Mercedes number how do i do so. I am needing a flywheel, and the shop i work at is getting it from Mercedes, but when i call Mercedes i need to give them an engine code for the correct flywheel. Help please!

I get 2 part numbers from my .pdf :

05098905AA 1 EGX DED Up to 2-04-2004
05135807AA 1 EGX, EGZ DED, DGJ,DGUAfter 2-04-2004

it is a W112 MB engine, hope that helps ......

from mopar.com : GULP !!!!!

yea thats the part number dodge gave to me but i called mercedes and they can't match it, they looked up an 03 slk320 base and they said i had to figure out the engine code 757521 or 757520 so im still stuck but thanks

Minor correction..... it is a M112 engine.....

Find a 2004 SLK 320 with 6MT on Autotrader/Ebay, snag the VIN.

From there, they should be able to match it. Crossfires used parts from final year of production R170

Get me the numbers from the back of the engine. There is a pad where they are engraved. With those, it's easy to figure out which one you need.

This thread seems dead, but no my flywheel seems to have had it. Car is in the workshop for a new clutch and I got a call say in the fly wheel is shot.Has anybody had any more Problems with the flywheel?
