I will do. Changing it over is easy & only takes 15 mins or so. As soon as it arrives it's going to be fitted.

According to DHL tracking, my spoiler should arrive tomorrow. The thing that I need help with is removing the top part of the spoiler (the part you see from outside the car & the part that matches the colour of the car) as the nerw part doesn't come with this & I need to remove my old one. Any ideas please? Thank you as always for the great advice recieved from you guys.

Easy and difficult to do this. But let us hope it works. You need to take of the plastic cover on each arm the goes to the actual wing. Underneath the plastic you see the bolts that must be unscrewed. Good luck, I remember when I did mine I broke the plastic covers, easy repair though with some glue

Well I am happy to report that the new spoiler is fitted & working as it should. I had some trouble removing the "skin" from the old unit due to it being locked in the closed position, but after some persuasion & swearing, it came off.... Really happy with getting this sorted.

I havn't tried this yet because I was just happy that it worked as it should. I shall be cleaning it again at the weekend & will lift it then.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you for giving me help & advice because without you, I wouldn't been able to fix this myself. Thanks guys/girls......

Here is the broken peice on my spoiler. It's one of the cogs that raise the spoiler. Can these be easily sourced?

That is the main drive gear the motor turns to rotate the drive shaft that raises or lowers the spoiler linkage arms.

Were you able to find these parts (cogs) online anywhere?
