WATER IN CAR ( UNDER passenger seat )

Default WATER IN CAR ( UNDER passenger seat )

TODAY AFTER THE RAIN WATER found under the liner .Perhaps does it flood through ventilation.I know that it is a known problem in the crossfire. WHAT TO DO, HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.PLEASE HELP.

You sure it's not the heater core?

water is very high. a coolant in the standard.

The most common reason this happens is when the water drain hole in the cowl in front of the windshield gets plugged and the water rises over the level of the lip for the air intake for the cabin. Clean the drain and drain hose and it is solved. All you have to do then is dry out the car.
You have to take of the windshield wipers and the black plastic cover and all will be revealed.

thanks for the reply, cleaned the hole plugged. waiting for hot days. This is a disadvantage of the manufacturer, manufacturer error

Spot on. Not the only cause but the most common. I have my fingers crossed this is your problem as it is an easy fix.

I had the same problem a year ago. i removed the seat and proped up the interior floor carpet as the foam padding underneath acts as a sponge and would takea week to dry. Just put a small fan under the padding and let it go for a couple days. leave it wet tooo long and you could get some mold issues
