I agree that at times the vulgarity on this site gets out of control. But lets remember that a lot of our members are as guilty of this as Boba.

Perhaps we need to start notifying our moderators by PM when inappropriate language is used - as they surely cannot read every thread of this forum...

He has certainly gotten into several heated debates - especially recently. My post was reminiscent of some of his other contributions to this forum. Remember - he has been a member since february and has made several great posts! Lets not let some of his more immature postings detract from his overall contribution here.

:shock: I hope you don't feel that way about all our younger forum members. Some of us are able to post intelligent, thought-out responses that include no profanity! :shock:

Some of the most immature and inappropriate responses have been from... some of our more mature members. So, I don't think being young has anything to do with it.

Whew -- now, back to the thing we're supposed to be talking about -- THE CAR!!!

 

What is it with the the "young" complex??? I never implied "ALL" of the younger members... only the one who "constantly" flamed and attacked people in a crude, vulgar and personal way whenever they did not agree with him. There is a way to debate keeping it civil without all the trash.

My quote at the beging of this post surely goes for young and old alike... but in this case we were talking about a "specific" young person who "always" quoted his "young age" to do and say what he pleased with no self control or regards for others. And I'll bet my last .02 he doesn't talk like that at home or in school...

You made a statement about being an AZ cop, moving to PA, OH and wherever while all the time keeping the AZ tag on your car. I asked you why you would do that since PA plates are $24.00 versus the very high rates we pay in AZ, remember? Your response was because, "they are cool". You could not explain yourself nor support your statements and thus resorted to whatever it was you were babbling about.

After you backed yourself into a corner, you made one last attempt to save face before you disappeared in April and quietly resurfaced again in early July. I almost said Hi to you then but didn't.

So please, get your facts straight and leave me out of your posts. I'll be happy to do the same for you. Thank you.

Man, what the heck is wrong with you people??? NOBODY told him he can't do whatever he wants to his car! In fact, NUMEROUS folks have said "do want you want". That said, as with anything posted here about mods, getting obscene and abusive to people who post a contrary viewpoint is unacceptable. If someone is so thin-skinned that they can't stomach posts from people that don't like the mod, maybe they ought to consider not posting about their mod in the first place! This isn't about stiffling free expression, restricting anyone's ability to post, or anything like that. Just as Boba or whoever has the opportunity to post here about what they're doing to their car, people who don't like it have just as must opportunity to post their opinion.

I mean, do you honestly expect EVERYONE to agree with every mod and post only glowing compliments? Get real.
