rpm limit increase problem
was any body able to increase the limit of the rpm?
originally set to 6250rpm.
i already installed a tcu tune from eurocharged, which promised an rpm limit rase.
but this did not happen.
the car now cutts off with a loud noise, then shifts after that at 6250rpm.
this is making me much slower.
i thought it is an ecu problem, i installed a viezu tune (from england) to just raise the rpm.
nothing happened, the car still shifts after lound cutoff at 6250.
note before tcu tune from eurocharged the car shifts smoothly at 6250 rpm without cutoff.
thank you

I already contacted jerry, and this is a copy of what he said.
By the way my car is a 2005 srt6, moded with 485 whp with a 50 shot nos.

Some versions of the original software will not allow for a 6500 RPM shift.
I’m still working on it now, so please hang tight while we test the new version.

I had mine eurocharged tuned and it revs max out as much as I want 7 and a half if I dare... That's weird I have a manual n/a bit could be a different setup with the ecu on auto srts , isn't it best to change around 6k anyway I was reading a few things and the torque drops and hp extra at those revs , guessing mabye not with noss and f/i
ckeck out this, it seams these guys have eurocharged TCU tune problems too.
hitting rev limiter after tcu tune - MBWorld.org Forums

this is a sample what the guys on mb world forum, are saying.
I was wonder if anyone has had a problem with hitting the rev limiter after having a tcu tune. Not realy sure if its the rev limiter or torque limiter. Right before every shift under wot trottle the car almost pauses before shifting. I have s/c pulley, and ecu tune

I have it and I was hoping someone on this forum would have it fixed by now so the same could be done to my car.
Yes, this also happens to me and a few other members on the forums.
I was told by Eurocharged that I was hitting a torque limiter. It would be good if they could give more info on this, but so far that's all I know.
I'm 320 Dreamer, wouldn't Eurocharged have already figured something out if this was a problem? I know your suggestion is only trying to help but I mean we bought a product, and now we have to do R&D to figure out if it's beneficial?
This doesn't sound right...not sure if there is a fix for it so I just usually shift before 6.5k to avoid hitting this limiter
I really hope the problem gets resolved as I also experience the same thing. I don't drive my car much so it hasn't bothered me too much. Do your 265s rub at all? I contemplated getting 265s but went with 255s instead
They just recieved my tcu today im not sure exactly whats going to be done to it but I mentioned to them about going back to the original shift points or ajusting the torque limiters. I havent ran my car car at the track yet since all of my upgrades, but knowing my car is going to hit the rev limiter between shifts isnt going to give me a very good e.t. If for some reason they cant figure it out im going to have buy another factory tcu. Yea, it bugs me that bad
I gotta think Eurocharged can at least restore the TCU to stock settings. I'd be very surprised if they can't.
