Default Custom leather additions?

Ok...so I was thinking...(usually a dangerous if futile hobby)....and I've commented on how the SLK's painted interior surfaces seem to rub off. The areas of concern are the console and the door armrests. These seem like high quality plastic but the color can rub off. Just to be clear, I'm talking about the materials that are the same as the glovebox's...not the silver trim or the leather seats.

So I was wondering if those areas could be covered or replaced with customized leather....something matching the leather swath on the doors. Maybe with the stitching being reveresed. The doors maybe easy to do because it's just the area between the leather airbag area and the black plastic map pocket. The console area might be harder because of the handbrake and silver trim.

I'd even like to cover the colored parts of the dash as well....the glovebox area and around the instrument panel.....that'd be difficult tho.

All that plus REAL aluminum buttons and *****....plus HIDS and I'd think the car is perfect. Well....more hp wouldn't hurt.

Dan.... Dallas didn't ask about wood.... Leather is what he wants. This place does every material but leather.

It's okay Dan.... We know how hard it is for you not to post in every thread.

Who doesn't recommend it??? If he wants a leather dash I say, "Go for it."

But, if you read his post you will see that it's not the "Dash" that he's talking about. It's the painted plastic parts.
