Default Cupholder Solution Mod

Here was a post I made a week or two ago called "Cupholder - What Should I Do?"

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...pic.php?t=2749

Anyway I found the solution!!

Last night I tore that piece of stupid monkey *** out of the console. Yep, I grabbed it with two hands and just ripped it out.

God it felt good. And having an empty hole to put stuff in, well, it sure is a lot better than that piece of crap popping open every two seconds.

Yea , thats what Im talking about, U need to take a pic so I know what it will look like when I get pissed off enough to rip the damn thing out myself too. I was thinking of being gentle and taking it out nicely, but F that, Ill wait till im mad and rip the damn thing out too. Good Work.

As a frequent 6' tall passenger, I hit that thing 1.5 times a ride. GRRRR! Nice work.

I yanked mine out. Took out the spring and then put it back in. Now the thing doesn't pop out. But I can push on the back end and still use it. This is the way it should have been designed. Who cares that it rises out of the hole on its own...like the old saying...KISS

Nice job.. wish I knew it was easy to just remove the spring. I don't remember even seeing a spring. Oh well. I'm just gonna bring it in before my lease is up and tell them it broke.

ME too !! :P :P

I think that's where a spring came from. I didn't have it before and I had it after I yanked the thing out...I can only assume that it was there...
