Here's some information that might be helpful for someone that's not too mechanically-inclined (like me):

Make sure the engine isn't hot.

The bolts that you have to deal with are 8mm and 10mm. The tools I recommend are the 8mm socket & rachet and the 10mm combination wrench. The only thing you have to remove to get to the bolts below is the plastic intake tube. Don't forget to but the tube back in.

I recommend removing the wiring harness to make it easier to install the bulbs away from the car. However, it is possible to put the bulbs in with the wiring harness still connected to the headlight cluster. If you do it this way, be conscious of the paint on your front bumper and maybe have a towel handy to cover and protect it. I used plier in turning the standing/parking light harness to remove it.

The access panel for the foglights can be accessed without removing your wheel. Just turn the wheel all the way to one side. The cover pops off and is easily replaced. This is also how you get any bolts that you drop when you're working on your headlight.

There's another access panel in the trunk to get to the rear taillights.

When you're done, make sure that you check the headlights at night to make sure they are even and not too high/low.

To re-iterate goat's list, here's a list of everything you might want to get to accomplish a "complete" look where everything matches:

(2) Silverstar H7ST Twin Pack (High and low beams)
(1) Silverstar 9006ST Twin Pack (Fog lights)
(2) Silverstar 7507AST Twin Pack (Front and rear turn signals)
(1) Philips Blue Vision W5W (Parking/standing lights)

Just got a set of Phillips Clearvision 4000k bulbs. These are not available yet but I got lucky and was sent a pair by Phillips. As soon as there in I will post some pics. But I was not able to pull out the factory bulbs. Do they just pull out or do I need a torx bit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

headlight replacement:

1. take off black rubber covering cap
2. unplug wiring connector from bulb (just pull connector body, NOT the wires!)
3. There is a metal "bail" that fits over the bulb into a metal tab. Unhook and rotate out of the way.
4. bulb is free, probably will fall part way out of socket.
5. stick new bulb in, making sure NOT TO TOUCH THE GLASS of the new bulb. You will have to rotate the bulb to get the H7 tab in the correct orientation (down I think).
6. snap the "bail" back over the bulb, plug in the wiring again, put the rubber cap back on.

One thing you might wat to do before is park in front of a wall (5-6 feet away) or something with the headlights on and trace the top edge of the light pattern with a pencil. Then do your bulb swap and verify once complete that your aim is still good. If you didn't seat the tab properly you'll see it on the wall immediately.

Another note: several of us have had 1 or both H7ST's in a 2-pack turn out bad. I think Phillips musta had a bad run or something. But where I bought 'em (Wal-Mart) no questions asked replaced and the second set worked great. No problems at all with my 9006ST's.

For those that don't read owners manual, this set of instructions for changing the headlights is absolutely right on the money. In fact there is more detail then you find in the owners manual, like the position of the tab. I just bought a set today and had them installed in less than 15 minutes.

Check out my thread under "Parts/Accessories for Sale" titled: Silverstar High Performance Headlights, an get a pair for $24.95, after rebate at Advance Auto.
