Won't lock/unlock from remote or dash button
Here's my story :
Last Friday at a car show with maxcichon and zip439, I tried to lock my roadster and the remote wouldn't work, BUT the buzzer tone ( cheap mod ) does sound ( both lock & unlock ) and the lights do flash.
I dug down to the locking pump and it is bone dry, all connections are good.
Here is the kicker : the lock and unlock DOES work with the over 9 MPH feature, and then when I stop and open the driver door.
I researched all the schematics and can't find where the remote and dash button won't work, yet the 9 MPH lock thing does. At least this tells me that the locking pump is OK, but now I am starting to SKREEM !
( I know the remote works with the SKREEM, but does the panel button also go this route ? )
all suggestions are welcome ........

Time for a "time out" ... from the battery? Switch ignition on during this time to fully discharge capacitors.. It's free and gives you bonding time with the car at worst case..
Good idea - I'll give it a shot, thanks.
Please ... I meant no disrespect ... I only mentioned the charger and time left to "cook" because thats what I read somewhere on the forum, and it worked for me. Actually, I disconected everything at 2 hrs. and success. If the short reboot works, that would be good info. just sayin....

The "reboot" has resolved some little quirks also..
Gotta love these cars.. LOL
Reboot didn't fix it.
I do however find that if I get in the car and close all the doors, that the console switch does work.
I also found that when I use the remote, get the locking beeps and flashing lights, the alarm is NOT being set, as well as the doors not locking.
Looking more and more like a SKREEM .....

Have you replaced the two disc type batteries in your key fob? Mine went out last Sunday and that is what corrected it (after unplugging the battery for about 30 sec.). Hope this helps.
Sorry, didn't close this thread out.
It was a blown fuse #9 in the under hood fuse block causing all the problems.
F9 supplies 12v on pin 75 to the BCM, as well as voltage for the dome and trunk lights.
The dome lights and the trunk light not working is what led me to F9.

Might try the long burn in.. let the Skreem and ID chip get to know each other again I guess? Nothing to loose by giving it a shot..
