Gas pedal mod question
Has anyone tried to modify their gas pedal? I remember reading a DIY for 05 and up mustangs when I had mine and it made me think of trying it out. I wanted to see if anyone has already tried it, If so did it work and where did you get the pedal. I tried a search and all I can come up with is the sprint booster, which if the mod works does the same thing for free basically!
You talking about this ?
THE "MINI SPRINT BOOSTER" MOD:
I did the item 4 steps to reset the TB, but only pressed the pedal to the hard spot, instead of to the floor. And be sure to leave the key in during step (4) .
The results were great. Due to this method, at about 1" typical pedal stroke, you are telling the ecu and TCM that there is about 20% more load than before the mod. The benefits include:
-> higher shift points
-> quicker/easier to downshift
-> a more peppy drive with less lag
-> cost is $0
As far as 0-60 or 1/4 mile times, no improvement there.

No, but I might give that a try! The mod I was speaking of involves opening up the pedal housing and adjusting the contacts inside. Here is a link for the mustang.
