Default HELP!!! '05 Crossfire stuck in 1st gear...

Alright I've had a major issue since I bought my 05 Crossfire.. 1 month after I bought my car it would stall out in 1st or 2nd gear and I would Have to stop turn the car off and restart the car for it to drive correctly. 4 months later the same problem consist but now the car is stuck in 1st gear and will not shift... Also the check engine light is on and the codes I'm getting are p0715 & another code that says the tcm has malfunctioned I think it's p0705. Also I go to put the car in reverse and it jerks into reverse and I place it in D and it jerks into 1st then I drive it and the cars RPM's rev up and doesn't shift??? I unplugged the TCM and the battery but the check engine lights still on and the car still acts up.... What gives, pleasssse HELP?!?!

Try search P0715 it gives a lot of info and solutions.
Also search your other number.
Unplugging the offending part will not clear the code, you need a code reader to do that.

I am certain I know what is causing this, your symptoms are EXACTLY the same as mine! It was nightmare to deal with and took months to sort out, but that was because no one could tell what the issue is. If you look at this link - https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ssue-help.html

This was the topic I posted when I was having the issues, have a look on there and it will tell you everything you need to know! The jist of it, is that its going to be the sensors or abs control module/pump (maybe both like mine)....I would put my house on it being that! Best of luck but this information should enable you to get it sorted, any questions I will do my best to help as know how much of a nightmare if can be!

What scanner are you using to get the codes? These look like mfr. specific codes that a generic OBD scanner cannot read.

I am having this problem once in blue moon as well. I am leaning towards leaky transmission as I am seeing some drops on my drive way. Wouldnt be a bad idea to check your for leak... I heard they have the same problem when fluids is low. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post317098

It won't be low fluids for this type of problem....trust me! The problem is not doing it persistently now, it will get worse to the point where its not drivable at all. Then like mine, you will need to get the module etc replaced and the real problem resolved.

Alright just came back from long vacation and got the same problem yesterday after a while. So you are saying its sensors or abs control module/pump ? how much are we talking about in repairs? do you have any DIY ?
