Vehicle Navigation System
Anyone out there have some good info on GPS systems. I am interested in a portable (move from vehicle to vehicle) but not handheld.
Must have visual and voice prompt.
Must have capability for maps of U.S. and Canada.
Anybody know of good web sites that I can look at for GPS systems.
The only one I know of is tomtom.com which is pretty good but I'm now looking at comparable alternatives.
By the way, does anyone have any firsthand experience with the TomTom GO unit.

Scott_UK has a neat unit which may meet your requirements (The GPS knew we were in a field a quarter of a mile from the nearest road). I think it was a TomTom, but I am not certain. :idea: Why not PM him, as I have not seen any recent posts from him lately.
