Battery Problems?

Default Battery Problems?
Hello everybody,
I just replaced the CPS in my 2005 SRT6. The engine light went off and is running fine. But after just a few short miles the battery light came on and it is continuously draining for some reason. Can anyone enlighten as to what the problem might be. Should I suspect the alternator?

Yes, and take a walmart cigarette lighter voltmeter with you to see the operating voltage while driving, 19$. Woody Enjoy.......
