airbag light
I recently just start having 2 issues with my Chrysler Crossfire Limited. 1) when it rains, water leaks from the glove compartment, but its dry on the inside. 2) my airbag light goes on and off while im driving. has anyone else had these issues before, and if so what do i do to fix it. im trying to avoid going to the dealership. if i have to go can anyone know how much this stuff will cost to be fixed.
Once that air bag lights comes on and stays on, you no longer have any air bags, and the only one who can reset the light once you figure out the reason for it coming on is the dealership. If you are getting moisture into the electronics, this could be your problem.
I've had the seat belt light issue, but not on the Crossfire. I've had it with my VW which was the female side of the seat belt buckle. It had a bad contact, sending no signal, and the system thought it wasn't buckled. I replaced that part of the seat belt, and it was fixed. May be worth while checking.
