If RCM goes bad away from home.
There is lots of info about resoldering the RCM if it goes bad but what do you do if you're away from home? Well, I found a tool that will find it's way into my small emergency tool kit, i's called a Cold Heat soldering tool. I have been using it on my model train layout and realized it would be ideal to redo the RCM. Available from Radio Shack it uses a 4 AA batteries, heats very quickly and is cool to the touch immediately after soldering. No wires, no waiting for it to cool and it is small to carry

Or you could do what I did : carry a spare one in the emergency kit along with the 2 Bosch CP sensors, the tire repair kit, the 12v jump starter and necessary tools. ( the spare serpentine belt is stored by the underhood accessory fuse box )
What he said.....
Also AAA or CAA cards and most importantly - don't leave home without it - a credit card with a high (usable) limit on it..
