cuziamninja,

welcome to the forum! You are having a leak on the bottom of the right main lift cylinder p/n 5170015AA. Your Crossfire has seven hydraulic cylinders, and they will all leak with time. They typically leak first on the bottom, and those leaks only get bigger. You must take care of it. Unfortunately, the cylinders were designed with seals that limit the life span to some ten years. The good news is, you can have the cylinder(s) rebuilt for a fraction of what the cylinder cost new when they were still available. Top Hydraulics upgrades all seven seals inside the cylinder, and makes it better than a brand new one that way. You may want to browse through the following, awesome thread by g3air with loads of photos and details: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...p-problem.html

awdspyder98,

I remember your case for a peculiar reason: you are one of the very few Crossfire customers for whom the other side didn't leak soon after we rebuilt the first one. Although all seven cylinders in the Crossfire convertible top system are bound to fail at roughly the same time (compared to their age), the cylinders which are used in pairs normally fail within weeks of each other. The reason is, the seals in these cylinders are from the same batch, they have the same dimensions, and they have been exposed to the same use and temperature fluctuations. Well, maybe the same side of your car was always parked in the shade, or the previous owner had just replaced the other cylinder before they sold you the car last year... ;-)

Tonneau cover lift cylinder 5142641AA
Rear bow latch cylinder 05142957AA
Tonneau cover (storage cover) latch cylinder 05166559AA
