Help!!! Please! Need it badly
2005 Chrysler crossfire non srt model convertible car had issue with random shut off I resoldered rcm and changed cps sensor I also changed valve cover gasket n while I was at I cleaned the mass air flow sensor ok so here's the problem no the car doesn't shut but when braking or coming to a stop the car bogs out idle drops like it's about to die?????!!!! It doesn't die tho thank god anyone knows what's the problem only does it when u brake or start to come to a stop or if anyone from California would like to fix it for me?? Lol its not my car it's my gfs car :/
Yeah I double checked it car only does it when I hit the brake should I double check the rcm? I didn't melt the pins sticking out I just added more rosin solder lol could it b that?
I'd check the vacum lines, the fuel filter / pump, and as previously noted, all the connections. It doesn't sound like the RCM but it would be good to check it again.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Cap off the vacuum line to the power brake booster at the manifold.
CAREFULLY see if this resolves the problem - YOU WILL HAVE VERY LITTLE BRAKES !!!
If it does, you probably have a defective power booster.
