Default UPDATE!!! On car won't start after running out of fuel🚫

So I let my car sit for a week, then it started right up this morning. I drove it for about 30 min then let it sit for 3 hrs. Came back to my car it almost didn't want to start but it did. I let it sit and idle for about 10 min then the car turned off. I tried to turn it back on after that but it just kept cranking again and would not start as usual. Does this help to narrow down the problem??

Could be simple as a fuel filter, or as bad as a fuel pump if you are sure it is fuel related. Crankshaft Position Sensors going bad, can be the problem as well. Hard starting, rough idle, etc...

Where is the fuel filter located? And do you know if the xfire comes with an external fuel pump or is it in the gas tank?

Under the car (external). There's a cover protecting it that you gotta remove to access it.
Fuel pump relay is in the Relay Control Module BTW.
