Default 2005 Roadster power seat issue continues.

Drivers side power seat moves a few inches and stops. After a short pause seat will move maybe an inch and stop. This continues until you get to the spot you want. I have changed relay, lubed seat rails. Hopefully someone has had a similar situation, and could offer a solution to this madness !! Thanks if you can.

If you could check for power at the connector under the seat going to the motor that moves the seat forward you could see if the power was intermittent or continuous.
If continuous the fault would be on the seat side or if intermittent the fault would be behind the plug.
You have to start somewhere.

Thanks for the tip. It doesn't look like an easy place to get to through.
