taillight issues

Default taillight issues

I put leds in but took them out because they weren't can bus. Put the factory lights back in, now the light out indicator goes on when I hit the brakes. And when I turn my lights on the 3rd brake light stays on.
Checked and replaced to fuses still the same problem, can anybody help me out plz

Sounds like trouble with one of the bulbs. Bulb in incorrect, or a filament broke and bridged with another.

If I recall correctly the bulb may also be turned 180 degrees and cause the same problem. This lets a bulb contact bridges the two bulb holder contacts.

So dont turn the bulb all the way is what your saying

No, always turn the bulb to the stop. If I recall some bulbs have a bigger terminal on one side than the other, put in the wrong way they short the circuit. It is mentioned on the forum somewhere.
Turn the bulb 180 degrees and retry it again.

Also check that you are putting the correct bulbs in the correct socket.

Also follow James ideas.

Being an 1157 type bulb..(not the one that actually goes in though).. you have one pin higher than the other.. "offset".. so there is only one way. If it actually is an 1157 I think that could be an issue for you. I had one laying around and couldn't get proper contact IIR and went to Autozone for the correct bulb.

Mine are 1157 bulbs (the ones the guy from autozone told me that fit), but ima go back to autozone tomorrow and see if they can find me the right fitment

The taillight bulbs can definitely be put in backwards. Ask me how I know.
