Default Small Oil Leak

After 5 months in winter storage, I disconnected the battery tender and started up the Crossfire. I have actually started it and let it idle at least twice a month over the course of the winter, so this was not the first time.

What was a first time this winter was I backed it out of the garage and did some detailing and fluff and buffing. Oh happy day. I was good to have some quality time with Rosie.

It was then I noticed an oil spot on the tarp I had down on the floor as a moisture barrier. Checking it, it was motor oil, not tranny fluid. Hmmmm.

I got my mirror on a short pole with a flashlight and started looking the best I can with the low ground clearance and noticed a small oily spot on the right side just where the bell housing connects to the tranny. Right next to where the exhaust comes down from the engine and becomes horizontal. There is also what looks like some sort of solonoid or small electric device there.

I realize that generally speaking giving an informed diagnosis of this issue over the internet is next to impossible, but I thought I would through this out and see if this issue rings a bell with anyone or sounds familiar.

Please tell me it is not the rear main seal. That would be a major setback for me right now.

Thanx in advance for any advice anyone has.

Cheers.
