Default Set off alarm, now no start

Remote key fob didn't work. Opened car manually and set off alarm. Turned ignition to turn it off, no dice. Then tried to turn ignition again and car won't start. Radio and headlights work so there is battery power, just replaced battery a month ago. Help!

Any aftermarket items on the car?

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes to see if you can reset all the modules.

Then do the key fob relearn to see if it will turn off alarm. Also try the panic button, I think if panic is engaged, you need to hit panic again to disengauge, not unlock like some other cars.
