Exclamation No Start, No Power.

Crossfire will not start, no power, dead.
Battery is fine fully charged, no blown fuses.
Was a sort of a burning smell, before it died. Rear spoiler is up.
Not sure if the solenoid burnt out or the alarm. Did get some bad water damage from
heavy rain a couple months back. Vents were blocked and filled up under the windscreen,
flooded the inside through heater fan air intake.
Tried blocking the car up to find the starter motor, still could not see it. (I had my glasses on and a white cane) Need to be a hoist, but not that rich.
Any ideas as to what could the problem?

Since you are looking for the starter motor, I will assume that you turn the key, lights in the dash come on, go to start position and nothing happens, right ?
If so, then :
1. RCM - Relay Control Module
2. Pulse Module
3. Starter ( as you said )
4. wiring ( seen any rat/mouse droppings ? )

Exclamation Re: No Start, No Power.

No dash lights, no power what so ever, all circuits dead.
Only rats I could find is my ex-wife.
It cut out at the traffic lights, with a burning smell, short circuit at the battery.
No fuses blown.

I will check it all again tomorrow if possible. Be flat out like a lizard drinking.
I appreciate the help. Looks like I need to buy shares in a aspirin company.

Checked RCM module all fine no burn marks or dry joints.
Connect the battery, no volt reading, disconnect battery you get a volt reading.
When the battery is connected no volt readings at any point. Nothing at the main fuse.
Where the ASU relay is has me stuffed.
Flat out like a lizard drinking means in Aussie ling-go busy as hell.
Or flat out like a Bondi tram. Hanging out for a drink, dry as a dead dingo's donga.

If you have NOTHING, no lights on the dash, etc., I'd suspect the 200amp fuse in the little square box next to the battery. It feeds the entire car except the engine fan, ABS brake system, starter and alternator.

The black lead from the 200amp fuse goes to the terminal strip in the back of the underhood fuse box on the other side of the car. From there, battery feed goes all over the place.

If the car is THAT dead, you should be able to start with the voltmeter across the battery and see 12 or so volts. Then move the red meter lead to either side of that 200 amp fuse, I'll bet you have power on the battery side, but not the other side. Of course, the question will then be - what blew that fuse?

If you smelled burnt stuff, try tracking the battery cable as it goes down the side of the engine. I beleive it goes directly to the starter/solenoid, with a jumper from there to the A+ lug on the back of the Alternator.

Good news folks found the fault, short circuit in the battery. Connected jumper cables from one car to the battery cables on the Crossfire, bypassing the Crossfire battery. Everything working, got the window up, rear spoiler down. Maybe some more luck here I think battery is still under warranty. Battery is correct battery Din 66 cmf.
A big thank you to all that has helped with the problem.

Thank you so much for sharing the solution. So many people ask for help and then don't follow up with an outcome. All of the suggestions are great but don't mean a lot unless we know what worked. GOOD SHOW !!

The battery was under warranty got a replacement battery. The alternator is stuffed can smell it toasting itself. Started the car within a minute you could smell it burning. Put my hand on it hot. So shut it down and disconnected the battery. Next step new alternator cost a fortune, especially when you live Australia Perth. So have to import one. (bummer)

You might be able to remove it and take it to a rebuild shop, if there is one in your area.

Can anyone tell me if you can put a alternator in your crossfire with a B1 & B2 terminals as photo.
The old alternator has only one terminal B1 as seen in photo.
Just connect to B1 on the new and all will be sweet?

Got it all sorted, I connected to B1. No bangs or farts, no out break of war with North Korea. The Crossfire goes again.
Trick for you all. The other month a rear stop light globe blew. I drop a new globe in the stop light by accident. Been rolling round in there drive me nuts. Don't want to take the stop light out and stuff the seal around it. So I came up the ideal of a drinking straw. Glued a small round plastic disk to it and let the glue set. Then put some glue on the disk and managed to get it on the back of the globe, let the glue set. Came straight out.
