It is beside the spare tire.
No gage just a light bulb. You can add one though if you want to.

He asked about pressure and the only thing that would warn you is the CE light.
That would be my answer.

Yes, I have found when I use the term, "idiot light", people take that personally.

There is no oil pressure sensor on the M112 engine. Minimum spec at idle with a hot engine and 0W40 oil is 3 pounds. Kinda makes a sensor useless at that point.

There is a plug in the front of the engine below the oil filter where a mechanic (or YOU) can measure pressure - go read about it in the manual - 3 pounds at hot idle is all you expect to see. 5W50 gave me 9 pounds at hot idle, I've not measured 5W40 but I'd guess it's just over 5 pounds.

I had an oil pressure gauge on the Graphite, but have never got around to putting one on the SE.

Just had this issue (freaked out when my check oil light came on, and put too much oil in) the oil pressure indicator is in the trip meter and will display "HI" on it if the pressure goes beyond normal.

That is not an oil pressure indicator, it IS the oil LEVEL indicator. You'll have to drain some out before the level sensor gets jammed (some have reported the sensor jamming after too high a level).

We can repeat ourselves all we want to, but people have "oil pressure" in their heads. And for good reason, every vehicle I've ever had, had an oil pressure sensor. Not the Crossfire, and I'd bet, not any MB with the M112 engine in it.

Not only that, but they don't even bother to put it in the OBD data stream

Which doesn't make sense, something has to tell when to turn the light on.
torque has alot of displays, but a oil pressure gauge is not one of them.

I originally installed a electric oil pressure gauge, but changed to a manual with copper line.

I like a vacuum gauges, can tell alot about a engine condition with a good vacuum gauge, and is good to carry around when used car ahopping.
