Drove my 2005 Crossfire to the store today after it had been sitting about 2 months while I was outside the U.S. On the drive to the store heard what sound like water going back and forth in the trunk area. Came out of store try to start car but nothing NO CRANK, NO FIRE. Dash lights, radio etc. all working the spoiler is up and will not go down and I hear some of the relays when I turn the key the run but no crank. Checked the battery and the ground wire appear to be good also found car will not shift out of park to neutral so had to use the multi tool to get the car out of park just to tow home.
I get no code when using a OBD 11 Can Code Reader. I have again solder the 3 contact pins of the RCM and I have made an attempt to pull everything out of the trunk but I am stopped at the 2 soft shaped panels that as it appears will only come out if you break them so at this point I have stopped looking for the lock out pump or anything that could now be wet causing the lock out and NO CRANK, NO START for my Crossfire. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Get those foam pieces out of there NOW,by any means possible. Then pull one of the rubber grommets to make it drain. Orrrrr, your going to do it to replace the CLP anyway or the car will not run.....

Ok, removed all the foam parts and found the plugs to drain the water. Will now replace the CLP, CPS and buy a new RCM. Hopefully after this I will be driving again. Thanks Steve

Get a used CLP/SSM from eBay which has the plugs that plug into it. There is not much point using the old possibly corroded plugs.

Save a few bucks an contact DJ (tighed1) he will recondition the RCM, with new relays (if needed , does each 1 individually) an do the "me so horny" upgrade. That's the horn works any time mod. For less than a quarter of the price of a new one. His email address is around the forum somewhere. Dont forget to say thank you, it's awesome he does this for the members here.

Thanks again Steve, The shop appears to have everything already order to get the job done. Plus thinking about the offer I got while at this shop to sale the car for $5000 so I'm still thinking Crossfire is 13 years old at 125,000

Many others have jumped on the bandwagon to help too. If you sell, when your sitting in that next four-door sedan , that's when the "sellers remorse" kicks in...
