I have a problem with the throttle delay I guess. I push down the accelorator and it takes about 3 seconds for it to accelorate and it lags. I don't know how much more too explain. I've done the reset with the gas pedal and it still came back. Can someone please help? Much appreciated.

 

That is normal, but three seconds sounds a bit too much. You can get a "sprint booster" which will correct that, but I would not waste the money if you are going to make any additional performance modifications. When you complete the mods you will want to "tune" your car. That will eliminate the throttle lag.
If you are only concerned with the lag and have no desire to mess with anything else under the hood then the sprint booster is the way to go. Have fun, but be careful.

sounds like a failing throttle body or gas pedal, you may get lucky on a throttle recalibration.


when you say it came back, does that mean it solved the issue temporarily?

 

I tried that and it worked but then after a a while it went back to how it was.

 

Exactly that. It was only a temporary fix.
