Leafs into A/C vent because missing screen on passenger side under hood

Hi Team!
Ever call I have the issue of my A/C starting to sound rough and loud because due to the missing screen under the hood by the windshield (rubber flap) the leafs get sucked in the A/C fan. has anyone come up with a good solution on how to prevent that from happening? Any kind of DIY solution with pictures would be awesome. I will clean out the fan again soon but I have to find a better solution. Thanks for your help guys!

No real solution , just individual DIY projects. I didn't take pics , but you can do a small screen an zip ties. Drill 4 holes an bend the corner cut pieces ,then push them down into the holes an bend them, to secure them. Each spring an fall, mine evolve into something more elaborate.
