Default Power loss and IC pump

My 05 srt6 has 67k miles currently. It runs just fine when I first start it up but after I do a few pulls it decides to not engage the supercharger. If I go real easy itll kick on eventually for a pull or two then kick off again. I have read several posts and threads and everyone immediately says to replace the ic pump. I just replaced my belt because i was getting some build up and there were a couple small cracks in it but it does not appear to be slipping now. I have also checked my fuses and my AIT sensor and all appears to be good. Is there anything else I can check before buying a new IC pump? or is there a way to actually check the pump itself by jump starting it somehow? Also if anyone knows where to get a good deal on a new pump if thats what I need I was thinking the updated bosch system. Thanks in advance!

start the car, leave in park, rev to 2k, let it go back to idle. put your hand on the IC pump and feel if it is running.

or use a obd2 scan gauge and look at the AIT

The motor may turn but not the impeller. The motor runs for years but the impeller was a poor design and breaks apart. The new pump part number ends in 10, the rest of the number is the same.
You can get a new pump from FCP Euro or NeedsWings among others.
