Bypassing, deactivate "Safety" parts/functions-
other owners have expalined how to eliminate /modify trunk electric lock; keyfob transponder chip; (and understand current SKREEM programming issues, which I hope can be dealt with soon).

But how about yawl control module; traction control; ESP; AND OTHER "SAFETY" SYSTEMS....

I know Mercedes engineers implemented many redundant systems in our Crossfires, in the name of SAFETY.. But the vehicle should be able to operate and run "well" if those systems malfunction or are inactivated/deleted....

I have also posted on 2 Crossfire Facebook groups..

So- WHO REALLY KNOWS ABOUT THOSE SYSTEMS AND WHAT CAN REALLY BE DONE ABOUT THEM ??

Thanks !

This quote is from +fireamx;
I've driven my car for the past 7 years with my 50 amp fuse unplugged. It disables the traction control and antilock brakes, that's all. Everything else works as it should.

The fuse to which he refers is just forward of the battery with two others and is covered with a small black plastic lid. I spoke with Mike just a few months ago and he continues to run his car with the power through that fuse disconnected. The fuses are labeled on the plastic lid. Mikes car has manual transmission.

Do not have an accident, if the insurance finds out what you have done they will not pay out.
