Car locks with fob, hatch does not
I lock the car with the fob and all seems good. Tried to open the hatch and it opens right up, not locked/secured... Four way flashers come on when the hatch opens, then I unlock and lock with the fob to turn off the flashers as I'm sure an alarm wil! Sound.. Okay, what is up with this situarion... Can't really secure/ lock my car...!!!😮
Are you pressing the lock button on the fob twice?

you can program the fobs to different functions.
I put the link above
Hope this helps

As said earlier the yellow air hose is probably torn in the corrugated hose that runs between the hatch and body. Some have spliced over the leak with a larger hose. If you want to replace the hose use a 6mm urethane hose, the yellow hose is not known for lasting. It is a major job time wise to replace the hose from pump to hatch lock.
The yellow hose passes through the passenger side corrugated hose at the top of the hatch. It is incorporated in the wire harness loom making it almost impossible to wholly remove, just remove what you can.
