Default No start.

Hey guys. So my 06 crossfire coupe won’t start. Had this problem about a week ago thinking my battery died but about an hour later it started right up. Upon leaving work and trying to start it all I get is repeated clicks now. Tried to jump it and still wouldn’t start. I’ve read several threads about the RCM but I’m not sure what if it’s that or just a relay. Checked all fuses. Soldering looks good to my eyes. I’m not hearing the fuel pump prime though so I’m wondering if it could be the relay for the fuel pump or the pump itself. Would I have the clicking when trying to start if that was the case? I’m not a car buff so any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the RCM, it is plug and play.

Any way to know for sure? I guess I could test the relays with a multimeter?

If it's loud clicks I would say battery or battery cable connections.
If it was the fuel relay the car would crank but not start.

Alright. I’ve got power at the battery. All lights work and I also jumped it and same result just a repeated click click click when you turn the key. No crank at all. Going to put a new battery on it today and if that doesn’t do the trick I’m going to assume my starter is out. Only thing that worries me is I’m not hearing the fuel pump prime when turning the key. Thanks for the help guys. I’ll update when I figure something out.

Ended up just having a dead cell in the battery. Only a 6 month old battery so looks like they sold me a bad one to begin with. Put a new one in and vroom. Thanks guys.

What brand of battery did you buy? How much did it cost? If they sold you one with a defective cell I would get my money back and buy another battery from another resource. I recently replaced my NAPA battery with a new Interstate MTZ-48/H6 which has a 48 month full replacement warranty.
