Troubleshooting & Technical Questions & ModificationsHave technical or modification questions about the Crossfire?

Hi there,
I need your help. First, excuse my English from France.
I followed the excellent "tutorial" https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...p-sensors.html
That's my problem.
I can no longer open the hood of my Roadster.
I have positioned the separation correctly in the trunk and I can hear the contact clearly.
When I unlock the convertible top latch and pull the convertible top away from the windshield, the windows roll down nicely.
The control button is lit red. If I press it, I hear the motor running but nothing happens. The hood does not move.
I think there is a problem with the closing of the trunk because if I check, the trunk is not closed and I think that the blockage of the hood may come from there.
I also looked to change the switch that locks the panel in the trunk thinking that the opening of the soft top which is not done could come from this switch but I cannot find the reference. (View the photo)
I would also like to change the part in the photo because I noticed that the tab holding the finger in the housing is broken. (This does not prevent making contact with the switch but I think it is better for the tab to be present in order to keep the finger in its housing.)
Do you have the part number and where to find it.
Do you have an idea to help me.
Thanks in advance everyone.
Thanks again for your reply.
I removed the left fender trim in the trunk to see the oil level in the expansion tank.
With the hood closed, the level is approximately 3 cm below the minimum level mark.
I think as you say, that the problem can come from this lack of oil.
I ordered PENTOSIN CHF 11S oil recommended by MOPAR and a syringe to fill the reservoir.
I'll let you know the result.
Thanks

Remember if you lose some fluid you have to find where it went, otherwise it will happen again.
It was indeed the lack of oil in the vase. I put some PENTOSIN CHF11 S oil recommended by MOPAR with a syringe.
Everything works now, the roof opens and closes well but I have a leak in one of the cylinders because when I operate the roof, the level of the vas drops. I saw that I have a leak on the cylinder on the right in the trunk.
I will see to have it changed if I find the model.
Thanks for the help you gave me.
Cordially,
