YOu have got to give us more than "right side of car". Is it from outside the cabin? Is it from in the cabin? Is the car a Roadster or Coupe?

How many things can it be?
Brakes (wear indicators are making noise or brake slides may need some grease)?
Wheel bearings? (Can be intermittent)
Worn bushings? (This would be really noticeable over rough road)
Shaft bearing? (This would be pretty constant)

Roadster or Coupe, the noise should be the same
My money is on a worn wheel bearing

It could also be an engine pully. Not enough info.

I had a high pitched sound from Jeff K's SRT Roadster on the way back to GSP yesterday - the rear bow latch would not go tight enough and I had a whistle sound above 40-45 from the rear bow area.

Could be but I don’t think you would hear that coming from passenger side. Just my $0.02

It’s probably the fan motet starting to fail. You can really hear it at low speed

I think his window is not up all the way, he's hearing air escape around the window - when he turns up the fan, the velocity thru the window changes, and is different from whatever velocity that makes a sound he's detecting. There is a procedure in the service manual to set the 'stop point' of the window going up, others have reported irritating sounds at certain speeds/fan settings that were resoved by taking a CLOSE look at how far up the window is going. It was more easily detected from outside the car, it was more obvious from outside that the window was not up all the way.

But we are all guessing. Because "high pitched sound" is subjective.

My vote is for the belt pulley suggestion. The sound could vary depending on engine speed and load. If it is a wheel bearing it would be constant and at a low pitch.
