I’m replacing the break pedal switch on my manual coupe, but when I took it out I found two holes that look the same but only one switch, the hole it looks like it should go in it doesn’t reach 🤷🏼♂️ and the other one is a real struggle been trying for hours haha any advice please?
I’ve replaced the break pedal switch in my manual coupe (in lower circle) but noticed the exact same mount a bit higher up (higher up) is there 2 break switches or just one? Thanks
Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning
After using this forum for 16 years I can assure you 1 thread in the correct section will bring you the best results
It may be over a few days but multiple threads don't help and will likely be deleted or merged as this one was
One problem here, is the differrences between North American cars and UK cars. Over here, we have no documentation for the differences between the two markets.
The service manual over here says the brake lights are activated by a switch on the brake controller. In automatics, there is a switch on the pedal to enable shifting from PARK.
Who knows what you have over there. What we need, is a UK version of the service manual.

Posting twice does not make any one want to help you more. It does the opposite.
Ronman is right. Had I seen your duplicate posts before VALK, I'd have told you to READ THE LINK in my sigline, then I'd have merged threads or deleted the dupe.
Right okay, well I made a post and didn’t get any help or response so I thought I’d do a more detailed one with more insight into the problem
I understand, but simply just post more detail in another post in the thread you initially started.
Eventually I'm sure someone here will respond but it's best to keep the discussion on a topic you have in just 1 thread.
I hope you find the answers you are looking for
