Default Hydraulic fluid for top and cylinder repair

Found out the hydraulic fluid had leaked out when the top wouldn't go up. Is there a particular brand I should buy and how much do I need? I couldn't find anything about the top hydraulic fluid just the brake fluid in the owners manual..call me ignorant but thinking it can't be the same thing. Also saw on Ebay a Crossfire Convertible Top Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Seal. Is this something anyone would recommend doing? Thanks for the help.

Can’t remember the name of the fluid just now, but it is the same as the power steering, and is called out on the PS fill cap. No you can’t repair the cylinders diy. Use top hydraulics shop,

Get this stuff:

If you have no experience reworking those cylinders, just forget it. There are a handful of shops that do the work, but the only one I would trust is Klaus:
