Default rear main oil seal & cover

I really hope im doing this correctly and in the right place. Apologies if not. I appreciate the time, effort, and patience of everyone here. Youve all imparted much needed knowledge about these beautiful animals. Im doing the clutch on my 05 coupe and cannot find a rear main seal and cover. Aka rear crankshaft oil seal and retainer, right? ive seen the videos on both the slk320 & the xfire. The MB guy replaces the seal alone, the xfire guy just tightens the cover bolts & decides to put off replacement. Im having a helluva time finding both. Someone at fcp euro suggested a dealership might have it. If ive learned anything here its eff the dealerships. My question is would the cover & seal from a 2003 SLK fit my 2005 xfire? The fcp guy said if its not labeled crossfire compatible its not a confirmed fit. But they definitely have them. Thanks in advance for any replies, hints, secret passwords, experiences that anyone shares.
I just found the damn things on Amazon, so I guess I could order it & return if it doesn't fit.

Yes I would think so, the cover will have a part number on somewhere, check it. Why do you want a cover? Did you mess it up?

It doesn't seem damaged but its leaking quite a bit from the bolts. Should I just takeoff , reseal and install new seal?

This is after some cleaning with soap & water.
